I commissioned Sam to paint a portrait of my eldest son, James, as a present for my wife and we were both thrilled with the result. Not only is the portrait a wonderful likeness of James, but it also magically manages to capture an insight into his character.  Sam's style gives the portrait a contemporary feel with a vivid use of colour and light to create a strong and vibrant image.  The painting is striking and has attracted admiration from everyone who has seen it. We could not be happier with our decision to commission Sam.
